Magnificat-Omaha invites all women to our Gifts of the Spirit Retreat.
Appointed for a Purpose
You are here at this moment in time for a purpose! God has chosen you and appointed you for something only you can do. You have been equipped by the Holy Spirit to partake in God's creative plan. Have you ever wondered what spiritual gifts you may have to offer? Please join the retreat to discover more about your unique mission.
Spiritual Gifts
You have gifts from the Holy Spirit. Some are meant to keep, and some are meant to give away. Some gifts are ordinary, and others are extraordinary. Some are motivational or vocational gifts, while others flash forth when needed. All are meant to empower you to live a fulfilled Christian life, pleasing to the Lord and walking in the lifestyle of Pentecost.

The retreat includes:
- A survey to uncover your gifts.
- The 20+ Gifts of the Holy Spirit in Scripture.
- Lively praise & worship.
- Reflection, prayer & sharing.
- Holy Spirit anointing & prayer to use your gifts for growth in holiness and your mission to proclaim the Good News.
Cost is $20.

OFFICIAL ORGANIZATION IN ARCHDIOCESE OF OMAHA
Magnificat-Omaha, NE has been approved by Archbishop George Lucas as an official organization for women's evangelization in the Archdiocese of Omaha. We have been hosting Brunches for over six years and are a chapter in the Magnificat Ministry International.
The International Organization was the inspiration of the late Bishop Stanley J. Ott with the encouragement of the late Archbishop Philip Hannan of New Orleans. The first function, a prayer breakfast, took place on October 7, 1981.
Now, there are over 80 MAGNIFICAT Chapters in the world. MAGNIFICAT ministers to those women whose faith in the person of Jesus Christ has allowed them to believe in the activity of God’s Spirit in their lives. It also has great appeal to those women who may be struggling with faith or who have lost touch with the Church. It is a valuable evangelistic tool.

MARY'S MAGNIFICAT
“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior…The mighty ONE has done great things for me, Holy is His name.” Luke 1:46-49
In these words of the Magnificat, Mary proclaimed to Elizabeth her gratitude for the wonderful action of God in her life. Please join us at a brunch for all women where we too will share together in that same spirit of gratitude and praise of God. After the meal, there will be a time of prayer for the needs of all present and an opportunity to hear Kitty share her personal encounter with Jesus the Messiah and her Advent music. You will be inspired by Kitty's beautiful message in word and song. Please plan to come and bring a friend to rejoice in the presence of the Lord.
